The Furry Family Stats:

Dax - "Kennah's Hired Hand" 15.3h Solid Registered Paint (Paint/QH bred), 11yrs old, chestnut w/2 hind white socks. Retired with degenerative stifle due to bone cyst.

Zack & Haley - Austrailian cattle dogs, SPCA rescues. ~11yrs and 9yrs old respectively. All they get to herd are the cats and occasionally the hubby.

Sam & Cato - Sammy the snack (so named for almost getting himself eaten so many times) a stray trapped in a havahart trap by my father. Turned out to be the friendliest cat EVAR. Cato - feral kitten found in a tree behind a barn on the farm. I think most folks doubt her existence due to her shyness.
